Safe and clean place near Airport.The area is compose of desert, greenery,pleatau, mountains,river and glacier. This area is very large and huge population.

Skardu airport is located in Skardu City, The Head quarter of Baltistan division and
Largest city of Galgit Baltistan Pakistan.
It very beautiful surrounded by high mountains, mostly Snow covered. It's connected to Islamabad international airport with PIA. Flight, 3 Time average in a week subject to weather.

One of the most beautiful but at the same time most difficult airports for Pilots, as it is surrounded by long and treacherous mountain range of Himalaya. will be very lucky if you can land in Skardu Airport without any issues because most of most days flights get cancelled due to weather warning. You can see beautiful mountain ranges and blue lakes if the weather is clear. Airport itself is very beautiful, located right in the middle of the Valley. About 10-15 minutes drive from Skardu city center.
